Home / Solid Silicone / Fiberglass Reinforced Grade
Per AMS3320, Fiberglass Reinforced Silicone Sheeting is typically used for gaskets or seals requiring a resilient, nonporous sheet material suitable for operation from -67ºF to 500ºF, but not limited to such applications. The material is resistant to deterioration by weathering and aircraft piston engine oil and remains flexible over the temperature range noted. The sheet is fabricated from a single ply of fiberglass and is balance coated with an equal amount of silicone on both sides of the fiberglass. The fiberglass provides dimensional stability and support to the sheet. The silicone compound is Food and Drug Administration (FDA) compliant per 21 CFR 177.2600.
